January 31, 2008The computer hacker, that is. Just want to be clear. I’m sure McAfee has nothing against bad golf.

January 18, 2008Falconhead Golf Club
January 12, 2008Anyone been out to Falconhead lately? Here’s a shot of the 5th green I took in 2004. The golf course sure looked good back then. I haven’t seen it since, and I haven’t heard much about it. I wonder if they’ve dug up those ridiculous “trough bunkers.” Fire off a comment if you’ve got any news from there.

Grey Rock Golf Club
January 2, 2008For those who didn’t know, The Golf Club at Circle C is now known as Grey Rock Golf Club. Grey Rock is, in my opinion, the best of its class in the Austin area. What’s it’s class? Semi-private, high-end daily fee, whatever you want to call it. You can be a “member,” or you can pay to play daily. It’s a no-frills golf course with a solid management crew who try to improve it and themselves daily. If it were a stock, Warren Buffett would call it “money lying in the street.”
